Artist's Comments
We where given the assignment to interpret a sentence and paint something based of that. I chose something about wind and blood and ran with whatever my creativity could come up with. The dark red (of coagulated blood) turned out more brown, but since it looked quite good, I left it as it where.
The final result looked like coffe and milk to me (instead of wind and blood), so I printed and cut out the words Caffe Latte and used transparent oil and a sponge to stamp the words in the corner. The painting might just hang on the local cafe in a few days  |
